Övrigt:

Sandyford Sundew importerades till Danmark som fyraåring, han hann lämna en del föl under sin tid i Storbritannien. År 1977 blev han avelsgodkänd och införd i stamboken för danska sportponnyer och har haft stor betydelse för rasen. Han är bland annat far till hingsten Hepitho som blev den allra första hingsten i den danska sportponnystamboken, SPH. Sandyford Sundew lämnade över 65 avkommor.
